Ankar Park is situated in the centre of the Bo01 housing development. The theme of the park is inspired by the diversity of Swedish nature –different ecosystems have been established within the park, such as alder marshes, oak woods and salt-water habitats. The spaces are designed to merge into one another, inviting play and contemplation.
I think the idea behind the design of this park is good; however, I was disappointed with the maintenance and care of the park. The finish was also displeasing as it was not completed to the same standard as the rest of the Vastrahamnen development.
