As part of the London Schools Environment Awards I visited Grand Avenue Primary School to take part in their ‘science week’. I spent the day making recycled paper with children from key stage 1 and teaching them about the climate change and the environment. I also gave an assembly on the importance of recycling and how they can help to recycle at home and at school. I really enjoyed helping out at the school and teaching the children about how they can help protect our environment today and encouraging them to do so in the future.
